HR Management Software

One people system from employee record to everyday HR.

HR administration becomes difficult when every workflow creates another spreadsheet, folder or standalone tool. Spark Enterprise brings employee records, onboarding, time, absence and performance into one people-management environment, connected to the same platform used for recruiting.

Core HR

Make the employee record the source of truth.

Create employees directly or convert a successful applicant from the recruitment workflow.

Employee records

  • First and last name
  • Work email
  • Phone
  • Job title
  • Employment type
  • Start date
  • Manager
  • Department
  • Documents
  • Employee status

Documents and controlled changes

Attach relevant PDF, image, Word, Excel or text files to the employee record. Documents can be marked HR-only where appropriate. Sensitive identity changes can be routed through change requests and audit-logged instead of being handled as informal edits.

Organization structure

Reporting relationships maintained on employee records feed the organization chart. Supervisors can see the people they manage, while employees have access to their own profile and relevant self-service functions.

The current employee lifecycle includes statuses such as Invited, Onboarding, Active and Deactivated.

Onboarding

Stop rebuilding the same new-hire process.

Create reusable onboarding templates for different groups, assign them to new hires, track tasks and monitor onboarding progress.

  • All-staff compliance
  • Engineering onboarding
  • Manager onboarding
  • Sales onboarding

Reusable programs make it easier to create a consistent experience without manually recreating every checklist.

Time & Attendance

Know where time is going.

For supervisors

Create projects, assign people and review the results.

  • Timesheet approvals
  • Time reports
  • Project activity
  • Employee utilization

For employees

Log time against assigned work, submit timesheets and see your own week, daily hours and utilization.

Leave Management

Bring policy, request, approval and balance together.

Administrators can create leave types and define accrual method where supported, annual allowance, carryover and paid or unpaid status. Examples include annual leave, personal or family leave, sick leave and unpaid leave.

Employees select a leave type and request dates. Managers can approve or decline requests. Employees can see approved and pending requests together with remaining balances.

Team calendars help employees and managers understand availability before additional leave is requested. Withdrawn requests return the relevant balance automatically.

Performance

Give goals and reviews a persistent home.

Administrators can create performance templates and launch review cycles.

  • Setup
  • Goal setting
  • Self-assessment
  • Manager review
  • Sign-off

Employees complete their part of the review. Managers see submissions, provide feedback and complete the manager review. Performance history stays attached to the employee.

Spark currently focuses on goals, structured review cycles and performance tracking rather than 360-degree reviews, compensation planning or succession planning.

Keep recruiting and people data in one place.
